Have started watching Mare of Easttown and while Kate Winslet is obviously amazing, I was blown away by how good Evan Peters is! Maybe out of habit of only seeing him in comedic and light roles, I didn't expect this performance. That Emmy was so well-deserved.
Apparently he was intimidated by Winslet in real life as well, which translated into their performance on screen.
